INHOPE and Microsoft Formalise Cooperation to Tackle Illegal Internet Content And Promote Online Safety

The International Association of Internet Hotlines (INHOPE) and Microsoft Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) today announced an agreement to secure Microsoft financial support for INHOPE's network of hotlines across the world over the next two years, as well as a commitment to provide expert technical training and software. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) defines a framework of cooperation to fight the proliferation of illegal online content and will help to create a safe legal environment for people to use the internet. This agreement builds on a strong six-year working relationship between INHOPE and Microsoft.
