The Washington Post: Prosecutors review CO middle school 'sexting' case

Prosecutors say they're investigating a case in which several Colorado middle school students distributed a text message photo of a nude 12-year-old girl.

El Paso District Attorney Dan May says he believes cases like the one his office received this week warrant counseling, not criminal charges. Under state law, charges could lead to the students getting branded as sex offenders if convicted.
